Are you trying to get more affiliates and more affiliate sales? Here's a newsletter I recently sent out to my list. It's delayed so next time you want this before anyone else who isn't a subscriber, then simply ^-; get on my list for free here.

Back to the tips...

Here's some tips for you on how to get
MORE affiliate sales.

1) Don't worry about getting more affiliates - it's not a quantity
game.

*ACTION: Recruit a few quality affiliates instead and try
nurture the inactive ones, which will usually be about 95% of
your affiliates...

2) Don't run around trying to recruit affiliates for a
brand new site that hasn't proven itself and isn't optimized.

If I don't see a merchant is running AT LEAST some
analytics program on their landing
page, then I walk away as an affiliate.

*ACTION: Make sure your site is converting. If it can't make
sales don't expect affiliate to magically solve it for
you. Fix the conversion problem and then worry about
more traffic from affiliates.

E.g. One merchant I know is sharing their conversion rate with
me, so I try beat it by sending them high quality traffic.

It's a win/win because I end up getting emails like this one,
which came in yesterday. I don't these every day mind you,

but they do come in a few per month.

3) Focus on the relationship with your affiliates. Don't spam
them using the affiliate system's "affiliate blaster feature".

I get bs and unrealted offers daily from some network affiliate
managers and they just go into the spam folder... because it
is basically spam.

Instead, try think like an affiliate and reach out to them
to see how you can help them send you more traffic.

e.g. today one aff. mgr left me a voicemail asking me for
input on her new banners. I thought that was very positive
and am calling her back. Will I end up running a new offer
from them? Most likely.

Now here's the best tip of all - my bonus tip to you:

"To think like an affiliate, you need to try it yourself."

Otherwise you won't speaka da language.

And THE best way to learn how to be an affiliate, and at least
give it a try, is to get trained and take some action on your
newly learned techniques.

Look, I'm not saying drop everything and live in a cave

eating insta-noodles and just doing affiliate marketing.

But give it a try and at least experience 1 or 2 types of affiliate marketing.

It will pay off later because you'll be able to get inside

the head of your affiliates much more easily, and grow those

relationships faster.
